Time matters in the future of personalized medicine.

This weekend at the Future Leaders Summit in Hamburg, our CEO Prof. Dr. Angela RelĂłgio delivered a keynote that captures exactly what we stand for at TimeTeller:

🕒 “Synchronizing Clocks: From Circadian Biology to Entrepreneurship”
📍 Impossible Founders Stage

Angela explored how the circadian clock, the body’s internal timing system, is not just a scientific concept, but a powerful lens to rethink disease, treatment, and innovation. She also spoke, very openly, about the challenges of being both a scientist and an entrepreneur.

At the HashtagFLS2026 the TimeTeller co-founders, Angela and Benjamin, were asked whether everything at TimeTeller is going according to plan, the answer was simple:

“Yes, and the plan changes every day.”

Back in 2023 when we founded TimeTeller in Hamburg, we did not plan to:

• Bring a reimbursed medical product to market with Die Techniker by 2025, Germany’s largest and most innovative health insurer

• Gain national and EU recognition through awards like @German startup Award, Deutscher Gründerpreis, Women TechEU, the EIC Leadership Program

• Collaborate with leading oncology diagnostics labs like CeGaT GmbH

• Publish results from our studies, with colleagues across 10 hospitals in Germany, showing that treatment side effects strongly correlate with disruptions in the internal clock, and that we can measure these changes in cancer patients

And yet, here we are. Fully according to plan… because the plan evolved along the way, and we were flexible to follow it.

Angela’s journey, as an engineer from Instituto Superior Técnico Lisbon to EMBL Heidelberg to Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, and now as Professor of Systems Medicine at the MSH Medical School Hamburg and CEO of TimeTeller, reflects a deep commitment to bridging science and real-world impact.

Through TimeTeller, we are turning circadian insights into actionable, time-based interventions that empower patients and healthcare professionals alike.

But this is not a one-person story.
It is a team journey.

A special recognition to:
• Dr. Benjamin Dose, COO and co-founder, scientist-turned-regulatory expert, bringing years of experience in translating medical devices into real-world healthcare
• Dr. Deeksha Malhan, computational scientist driving the development of our high-throughput data platforms
• And every member of the TimeTeller team, and our extended scientific collaborators, and investors, who have been part of this journey from the very beginning

Thank you for building what TimeTeller is today.

A powerful reminder:
Timing is not just everything in life, it is crutial in science, medicine, and entrepreneurship.
